TowardEX has begun a long-term commitment of supporting IPv6 technology since 2003. We are one of the managing partners of OCCAID, a pioneer in global IPv6 development which provides connections to over 300 entities in North America today.
TowardEX offers IPv6 services to all of its customers. Web hosting customers running on cPanel environment can become IPv6-enabled through a dual-stacked reverse proxy server, which is transparent to your web site operations.
As of Q3-2005, native IPv6 is available to all customers network-wide, including colocation and dedicated access. IPv6 access can be provided dual-stacked with IPv4 on your existing circuits, and is protected under the same SLA and service commitment.
TowardEX's upstream IPv6 internet connectivity is provided by OCCAID over a native 10GigabitEthernet XENPAK connection in Boston, MA.
Update November 29, 2005:
We will be shutting down our 6bone tunnelbroker router on December 12, 2005. If you are still tunneling to this device for experimental 6bone service, please find alternative connectivity. SixXS USA should be able to continue providing you with free tunneled connection with better service quality. If you are a customer, please contact your account representative to enable native IPv6 on your circuits.
Update August 20, 2005:
We have stopped providing tunnels to outside parties. Please do not contact us for an IPv6 tunnel or peering connection, unless you are a customer of ours. If you are not a customer, please visit OCCAID web site and ask them for a connection instead.
If you are a customer of us, and want to request IPv6 services, please contact your account representative. Alternatively, you may wish to email ip-admin [at] twdx.net. We do not provide IPv6 tunnels to non-customers, so please do not email us for IPv6 if you are not a customer.
